What’s so great about the Grand Budapest Hotel?
As a spectacle, the animated motorbike and sled chase down the ski run is a particular highlight of the film as it incorporates high-speed action, danger and a literal cliff-hangar. The Grand Budapest Hotel is a film I love more and more each time I watch it; a truly unique spectacle and a special place to stay.
Should I watch the Grand Budapest Hotel?
I highly recommend watching it. It’s a brilliant movie and the acting while “dry” was executed perfectly. The overall style and art direction may be too unique for most but IMO fits this movie pretty well. Was in my top movies for 2014.
